The same practice, turned
4a is the lived cycle.
You experience the work sequentially. Something is observed, a contribution enters, something becomes tangible, reality answers, learning returns. Then another sprint happens. And another. From inside the work, it feels linear because time is linear.. Sep 2026.
4b is what the cycle has done to perspective.
You may encounter what looks like the same observation again. But you aren't standing at the same point anymore. There is now a gap created by everything experienced between those encounters. The observation may look familiar, but the observer—and the practice observing—has changed. The spacing between the spiral lines becomes meaningful. The gap is experience.. Sep 2026.
4c is what becomes visible when you stop looking at the cycles individually and look at their trajectory.
The oscillation doesn't disappear. We still observe, contribute, make, encounter, learn. But all of that activity is carrying the practice somewhere.. Sep 2026.
We are going somewhere because what we learn changes what happens next. >work repeats. >experience accumulates. >perspective shifts. >the system moves.
